Begin your journey with insightful visits to the Bridge of Freedom and Mangbaedan Altar, setting the stage for the Korean War's narrative. Venture into the Third Tunnel, an imposing invasion tool, before continuing to Dora Observatory, which offers a panoramic view of North Korea.

Then, choose to visit one of two bridges: take a short hike to the Gamaksan Chulleong Suspension Bridge, a 500-foot (150-meter)-long structure with historical significance, or the Lake Majang Bridge, where allied forces fought battles during the Korean War. Your tour ends with a return to Seoul.

This is one of the coolest tours I’ve ever done! It is a must do when in Korea and our tour guide Julie is so good and very knowledgeable. We got to see some of the major attractions in the DMZ, including the Dora Observatory, where we were able to see into North Korea. Highly recommend!

I went on the DMZ tour with my two daughters. Unfortunately, the JSA was closed when we were in Korea, but we were able to go into the DMZ to the observation tower and tunnel 3. Our guide, Julie, was great! She made sure the tour was super interactive and informative. She was also flexible with the individual stops. She let my daughters stay on the bus for portions that were going to be too strenuous for them.

We booked this tour on a Tuesday and you have to be at the meeting spot at least 10-15mins early to locate your tour guide as there are other tour companies waiting at the same meet up point. Your tour guide’s name will be included in the last message they sent you the day before. Don’t forget to bring your passport or else you won’t be allowed at the DMZ. We departed at 7am on the dot and we had the lovely, bubbly Chloe (from PLK travel DMZ tour) as our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged. She answered everyone’s questions and up for a chat. Granted you’ll want to take a nap during the bus ride but Chloe wouldn’t let you miss all the historical facts of each location. The tour itself was great, the places we went to were interesting and had adequate time to explore after Chloe showed us around. Some activities required a lot of physical exertion so bring your hiking/walking shoes and be up for the challenge! Overall, it’s a tour I’d recommend to family and friends. Thanks again for a great experience, Chloe!
