What To Expect

Board a luxury catamaran and explore Tulum’s gorgeous Caribbean waters and coastline on this group tour, where all the details and logistics are taken care of for you, so you can concentrate on enjoying your day out.

Your tour starts with pickup from the designated meeting point closest to your hotel or other accommodation. Then you’ll head to your luxury catamaran. Your crew will help you with life jackets and show you where the toys are, including paddleboards and snorkeling equipment.
When you’ve worked up an appetite from exploring the reef and marine life, or when you need a break from sunbathing, enjoy a gourmet lunch and drinks from the included open bar.

Ivan and the whole crew were awesome. They ensured we were having a lot of fun while being safe on the boat/in the water especially once the open water became choppy. Also, the gourmet lunch was amazing and filling. Legit 5 course bento box style. Ooh photographer Paola candidly captured some Kodak moments but stills were pricy. Can’t wait to do book another adventure of theirs on our next trip.

Pick up was a little bit choppy. It took forever to arrive to the dock. This caused the whole schedule to move. This is ok if you do not have planned other things (which was our case), so do not plan anything after the tour since you never know if you are going to make it or not. Crew is amazing and friendly. I like that it is a small group experience, so it feels very private.

Not worth the money!

Extremely disappointed and very underwhelming. The disorganization within the company is ridiculous. I received three messages confirming different pick up locations and times - 2 on what’s app and 1 on the app, all different people. After informing them, they proceeded to send the pick up shuttle to the wrong location. They finally picked us up at our location, but we had to walk to them instead of being picked up in front of the resort. The ride to the catamaran was terrible! The driver drove extremely fast and dangerously. The catamaran was extremely disappointing. We were supposed to do a 35-min guided tour to see the coral reef - that swim was 10 minutes max. The location we snorkeled was extremely shallow. The food on the catamaran was gross. Drinks were poorly prepared and the chips were stale. There were also way too many people on the boat. There was limited room to sit safely.

As you could read on the Heading of the Tour you have booked, it's a SAILING EXPERIENCE, NOT SNORKELLING ONE; to snorkel is an extra we provide and it's according to the weather conditions, it is not the main activity. Pick Up locations could be the closest meeting point to your accomodation, it's specified in the What's not included section. Next time you could try our Semi Private Tour to Akumal and Cenote!!

I paid $90 for my pictures in cash and didn’t receive a receipt. The girl insisted on putting my email in her iPad to send it and when I contacted customer support for them, they are stating that there’s nothing they can do about it because I don’t have the receipt that I was never given. Now my money and photos disappeared. Also when you get there you have to pay $10 tax free per person which they don’t tell you until the day of. I tipped the staff on the boat and still wasn’t given a receipt for my photos. UNPROFESSIONAL.

What you paid us, you have received it already: The Luxury Sailing Experience with Open Bar. For the extras, like pictures, souvenirs, etc, you didn't do it through us; we could assisted you; you didn't ask for it. The photos could take from 24 to 72 hours to be sent, maybe you will receive them today or tomorrow, considering you were on the boat on Saturday afternoon. On the other hand; it doesn't sound wise to pay for something in cash and to leave without a receipt. That part is 100% your responsability. About the Dock Fee it's specified in the "What's not included section"! And we reminded you about it in the confirmation messages we sent you and you didn't respond them. Finally the tips are always optional, there's no relationship between tipping someone for something and didn't get a receipt. Probably the $90 USD you mentioned above were the tips you wrote about. Impossible to know it, and it looks like you were confused about the payment for pictures and the tips you gave. We hope to see you soon in another adventour!!!

Rocky start, but well worth it!

I was originally not going to leave 5 stars because we were about an hour late in getting picked up, our driver had to return to pick up more passengers that he’d mistakenly left, and I was concerned that we weren’t going to get our full experience. However, the staff of the catamaran, including Mateo, made up for it in full and they owe us nothing! We were still on the water for about four hours, nothing subtracted. The drinks were made to order and free-flowing, the music was great, the weather was perfect for sailing, and they took us to a beautiful spot with crystal clear waters where we could float, snorkel, and paddleboard to our heart’s content. The lunch they served was yummy, and the friendly staff worked hard to make sure we felt relaxed and catered to. Despite the rocky start, this was a worthwhile experience.

Best Birthday Experience!

My partner and I did this for my birthday and it was by far the most fun I had on my trip to Tulum. I got to meet so many fun and amazing people, truly a bonding experience. The boat seemed to be a bit overcrowded and some of us had to sit in the front of the boat in the pouring rain. Eventually, the rain let up and they put the toys and paddle boards in the water for us to use, which was fun! The drinks were flowing and the food was decent. There was an incident where my partner opted to go snorkeling (for the first time) but did not receive a life vest (she didn't know she needed one- or that everyone else received one) since she was the last one off the boat to follow the guide. I would suggest the guides paying more attention to things like that since there were so many people, and alcohol involved. The guide assured me that he was with her the whole time, so with that, I'm still not sure why he didn't notice she didn't have one and offer her one. All in all it was still a great experience and I would 100000% do it again. Just hopefully on a sunnier day. DO IT!

Great group activity in Tulum

This boat ride was booked as part of a girls trip to Tulum! We had such an amazing time on boat 18 with our host Matt. We got a plenty of time to enjoy the scenery on the boat (including taking pictures), and a good amount of time to do water activities like snorkeling and paddle boarding. There is an open bar and the amazing staff is so attentive when it comes to getting/ making drinks. The food was not great but good enough to get you through. I would highly recommend!

The positive. The tour operator (Clement) and staff is what made this cruise exceptional. They were informative, helpful, energetic and fun. Views were gorgeous, snorkeling was fun, food was great and drinks were on point. I would say that this was the highlight of my trip to Tulum and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing boat/catamaran ride. The negative. It was our first day in Tulum and so getting to the meeting point was a little difficult for us. Instead of assist us with how to get there we were berated and disprespected by whoever operates the Paradise Adventours CUSTOMER CARE Whatsapp AND CUSTOMER CARE Viator accounts because we were a few minutes late, and they threatened to leave us. That person was very unhelpful and needs to be fired. He refused to pick up the phone once the van left or to help with an alternative plan on meeting. He almost completely ruined the day for us, especially since he had NO idea that Paradise Adventure Tours DIRECTOR told us to meet the van in another location that was closer to our Airbnb (when it wasn't by walking) which is why were late. They need to communicate better with one another in future, as it is clear that that rude person clearly does not like their jobs/dealing with people and are unhappy with life because it was VERY unneccessary. Another customer complained on the van that he was rude to her as well and demanded to know who was behind the Whatsapp. IF the boat wasn't so amazing I would have given the trip poor reviews all because of this/these particular person! Do better!!!
