Important and moving tour that is historical but always relevant. Highly recommend this tour with Sam.
Well spent day
Jennifer_S, Nov 2025
Sam was a fabulous guide. We learned so much! Although a very somber day, it was a well spent day of vacation. Everyone needs to know this history.
Worth it
Leslie_S, Nov 2025
Adam, our leader, was knowledgeable and passionate about educating us on Dachau and the rise of the concentration camp network under the Nazi regime. Definitely worth doing a tour and, in my opinion, important to bear witness to the atrocities of the past.
Very good tour

Our tour guide Aileen was very knowledgeable and took questions along our tour. We didn't feel rushed, though it was a lot to see and read at the museum, you definitely needed more time to see everything. Expect a lot of walking. Our group met at the meeting point, took the train to Dachau and then a local commuter bus near the entrance of the memorial. Overall, this was very this was a somber tour, but educational.
A professional and compassionate tour of Dachau
Samuel_S, Oct 2025
Aileen was our guide and was very friendly and knowledgeable. She guided us via the railway and bus to the Dachau and provided a precise and compassionate tour of this horrible place. Aileen ensured all questions were answered and provided insight to the sad unique aspects of Dachau.
Must see
Elayne_B, Oct 2025
Hein was very knowledge and packed in so much information. This gave us a better understanding of the actions of the Nazis and how it all played out to eventually target mostly Jewish people. It was not as graphic as I expected, which I appreciate but very somber. I did not appreciate some teenagers laughing in the corner as if it was all a joke. I think some staff placed in buildings to stop the disrespect is warranted.
Fascinating

Overall great tour from start to finish. The camp is something all should experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable.
Need a full day here!
Joshua_D, Oct 2025
So we actually missed the meeting point in Munich due to traffic/parking difficulties, however, we were able to message through Viator app to help us figure out where to go and how to meet up with our group. The visitor consultant was amazing, getting back with us so quickly to help us meet up with our tour guide. The tour was about 6 hours but there is soooo much to see, especially in the museum that it felt like the tour skipped a lot. Hein, our tour guide, hit the big points for sure and did the best with the time he had. He was a little hard to hear/understand at times, but overall did a very good job. We were actually glad we missed the bus and were able to explore on our own after the tour and go back through the museum a second time. We spent the majority of our day here exploring. The site is amazing and very informative if you have the time! Definitely recommend.
Extremely knowledgeable your guide
Aline_W, Oct 2025
I learned so much and it was so unique that I can't even express. It was my very first KZ -concentration camp visit and Keith, the guide was very patient with me . He is extremely knowledgeable and understanding of people's different background knowledge on the subject. I really recommend this tour. This visit was like reading an entire book 📚 on the subject! Thank you Keith !
Amazing tour!! Highly recommend!!!

Tom our guide, did an excellent time, expressing the pain of it all. Yes it was a very bad time in our history, but it’s something we can’t forget, and we need to know about.

Genevieve_S, Oct 2025
Marcin was our guide and was truly fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about education. For the price this couldn't be beat - he shared info/spent time in the most relevant areas of thr museum which was great given the amount of time we had.
Adam had a unique ability to bring an horrific experience without loosing humanity.
Sherri_B, Oct 2025
The reality will tear at your heart. Adam’s knowledge covered material with depth empathy and insight. While no one should ever think this is a “fun” excursion, it is absolutely a necessity to understand our world history. The memorials also serve as a reminder that we must never forget what happened there.
Well guided and very informative
Brian_H, Oct 2025
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative about WWII history and gave a very realistic description as to what actually happened in the Nazi concentration camps.
