We got picked up from our accommodation at 07:05 from Lisa. From the moment we got collected until the moment we got back that evening, it was a completely amazing experience. The sites are all incredible but what made it extra special was Lisa’s abundance of knowledge. A friendly & kind tour guide that didn’t hesitate to answer any questions and also made everybody on the tour feel welcome. A special mention to Nathan her assistant guide for the day. Thank you guys!

Spectacular experience in the world’s oldest rain forest
Lisa_K, Jul 2025
Dom provided us with an exciting, educational experience. His relevant personal stories and his sensitivity and respect for the world’s oldest rain forest and the animals enhanced our experience.

Our guide Lisa was friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Lisa brought the area to life and was a great guide on the rainforest hike. The whole day was fun from wildlife habitat experience to crocodile river tour to the plant life in the rainforest. Thanks for the great day!

Full Day with Lots to See!
Marie_N, Nov 2023
This tour was a great combination of local history, attractions and information. Dan was an excellent guide - he kept things going during the long stretches of driving, and also did a great job of keeping us on schedule. Highlights of the trip included animal encounters at Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas (think pictures with koalas!), Cape Tribulation visit, Mason's Swimming Hole at lunch, Daintree Ice Cream Company, and of course the trip to the Daintree Rainforest and all that it offers. Be prepared for a very long day, but know that you'll be in great hands with this tour company!

A lovely day out to the Daintree and Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas.
Julie_G, Aug 2023
Our driver Geoff was very passionate about the Daintree and the Cape, he has a wealth of knowledge. The Wildlife Habitat @ Port Douglas was great, our guide was excellent, we could have spent another hour there. Lunch was ok. The ice cream from the Daintree ice cream shop - delicious 😋 The Daintree cruise was interesting we saw 3 crocodiles 🐊 Cape Tribulation OK. All in all a lovely day out, was it worth $240 pp - not too sure!!

Easy to book I was never worried about cancelling in these uncertain times. The actual trip was amazing great value for money and a wonderful insight to the flora and fauna of the rainforest

Beware the weather effects of your tour

Got the expected long day on the bus which was fine. Breakfast and lunch stops were fun and the walk in the rain Forrest was informative. Only disappointment was the river trip looking for crocs. Bus driver and boat operators knew the weather was going to drive them out of view and let us waste our time searching for them. We ‘found’ a couple under the mangroves-a small one and one of size the guide said was there camouflaged-never saw it. Oh well.

Fantastic journey. Love the lunch plus coconut drink. The guide was knowledgeable. Saw some crocs resting on the river bank and others swimming while on the river.

The reason this tour is just ok is because we spent a good 70 of the day at least on the bus. It took an hour to pick up others in Cairns after we were picked up, then had to pick up more along the way and in Port Douglas. Our guide was knowledgeable but had no sense of time or urgency to get to places, so we only ended up with 40 minutes at the wildlife park which was very rushed and then the only part of the rainforest we got to see was a short boardwalk. It felt like the highlight of the day was our lunch on the beach, until we got to the Daintree River cruise to see crocs at the end of the tour 4-5pm ... that was really cool. Would not recommend this tour, though, because it was way too much time on the bus. Get a rental car and drive to these places yourself so you can do it at your own pace and just pay for the ferry across the river you need to to cross it and the river cruise.

You spend more time picking people off and dropping them off than anything else.Which means you spend all day on a bus. We were gone 12 hours and it was a 1 hour lunch, 45 min Daintree walk 1 hour crocodile cruise. Not worth it! The rest of the time you are on a bus.

It was an experience to see the rainforest and the beaches along the coast. The food was good and we could choose from different options. Our guide told us lots of interesting facts about the forest. I missed a little more action in the tour and I hoped to see more waterfalls. Our tour could probably been better if we saw some crocodiles.
