Q:What time is pickup and drop off for the Mulgrave River Tubing from Cairns?
A:For morning departures, pickup is approximately 7:45 am and you will return around 12:00 pm. For afternoon departures, approximate pickup is 1:45 pm with a 6 pm return.

Staff were great, very chatty all the way. Answered everyone's questions, mainly are there crocodiles about, answer is No ! We laughed all the way along river, some bits fast but mostly it's slow going. Beautiful countryside. Would definitely recommend 👌

river was so low travel on a tube for anyone weighing more than 50 kilos was scraping the river bottom for a good portion. guides were very friendly. poor communication on pickup time. email said 1:15. a phone call to the company at 1:30 informed that the pickup was actually 2:00. IMO, they should not take your money for the experience. i would recommend the trip if the water level was verifiable for a true float. certainly for all ages.

It's both a relaxing and exciting adventure! The rapids are only level 1-2, so they make it so much fun 😄 In between the rapids parts, you just float gently. It's wonderful and the guides are great!

Loved cruising down the clear rainforest river in a small group—peaceful, scenic, and fun. Taking personal photos with my phone in a water pouch was a great touch! The water was low, so a few rocks slowed us down, but it made the journey feel playful and calm. Nature all around was stunning. A beautiful way to unwind.

Went tubing in early October so still dry season. Tubing at this time was very chill, a few rapids for some action for 14 yr old son. Lots of fun.

River Tubing was wonderful a mix of relaxing and some excitement, the guides were friendly. Great for all ages. We had ages from 6 to over 70 in our group.

The information about pick up time was inconsistent but the welcome was nice on the bus.
Unfortunately, we were not informed about the shallow water and my husband is a large size so hit his backside often on rocks, ect.
I was probably expecting a bit more action as most of the time it is just floating along in shallow water that is not really a rainforest environment, eg; back of people's houses, campers, people picnicing, ect.
Getting out of the tube - in the water - was extremely challenging, especially as I am not extremely fit. It would be a good idea to have some ropes available for people to use to assist.
There are no change rooms so expect to travel back to your pick up spot in wet clothes.
The snack is a muesli bar and a popper
I personally didn't think it was worth the cost
